Shadow and Reflection
In this photo, I think I did a good job of capturing shadows and reflections.
Jasmine is my subject. I noticed that in this frame, I could capture both assignments.

Self Portrait
On this day we were shooting the assignment of shadows and reflections. We talked about shadows on the subject and of the subject. In this photograph, I shot a portrait of myself and my shadow. I was trying to make it all encompassing: myself, my shadow and shadows of myself on me.

I had alot of fun in the Girls Club. I took lots of pictures of everything. Some were wide and funny and even watery. I learned how to take different types of pictures. I enjoyed seeing the pictures that my friend took and mine also. It was a great day. Oh, I forgot, I even took really colorful pictures and with design. I had fun.

Today it was fun because we learned new things. Also we started to meet each other and learn their name by speaking to them. We took pictures of our shadows. We also know that every time that you take a picture you need to get a good background.

Can you guess what this is? That's right, it's a slide. In the first picture, it is part of the slide. It shows how they connect it together. If they didn't do that, it wouldn't be a slide. The second picture is how they put strong glue together. Look how strong the tape is. The third picture is about the holes they designed in it.

June Photo Class
This June, we began an introductory digital photography class for girls ages
9 to 13.
We spent 3 afternoons taking photographs in our neighborhood playground. They all agreed that learning to "SEE" is FUN!
