I would call my sailboat "The Famous Kimberly Sailboat."
I would pick Autumn, Teana, Yuanna, Amber, Chastidy to be my crew.
I would go to the islands.
I would take my boat to get it fixed. I would repaint it and put designs on it. I would also put pictures on it.

This is Ativa when we were walking across the Brooklyn Bridge.
This is half of New York City's buildings.
This is where we're across one side of the bridge.

FREE FRIDAY FISHING CLINIC WITH THE LOWER EASTSIDE ECOLOGY CENTER

My name is Kimberly. I'm 10 years old. I'm going to the 5th grade. My birthday is March 24, 1995. On Monday, I enjoy being at the East River and being at the Lower Eastside Girls of New york. And I love taking pictures.
The most fun part of the East River Camp was the dark room and making books.
I made good friends and had the best best teachers there and keep them there.
The most fun part of the East River Project was the sail boat cause of the animals and the darkroom cause it was fun doing your own pictures and making books.
I learned in East River Camp that there is so much historical history behind the East River.

The Brooklyn Bridge was nice, fun, scary. But I got through/ over
it was very hot that day and heat and a bridge don't go together.

Love Ya Chastidy/ Chaz Chastidy is my sister.

That's me. I'm so nice cool not mean cute and funny and fun
I love myself and others.
My name is Autumn. I am 11 years old and in the 6th grade. We went to the Lower Eastside Ecology Center, took a trip to Governor's Island, walked over the Brooklyn Bridge, went to Roosevelt Island, sailed on the Pioneer Sailboat, worked in the darkroom and I made this book.
The experience in this camp that was the most fun was when we went to the Ecology Center, took the boat ride and walked across the Brooklyn Bridge.

This is my beautiful cousin Tania and she was also here for the whole summer.
She is 13 years old.

This is my big cousin, Desiree. She is 13 1/2 years old and she came for the whole summer. But she went to P.R.
Governor's Island
In this summer camp, girls, ages 10 to 13, explored the East River through digital and film photography. They had the opportunity to work in a darkroom and to use Adobe photoshop. Each girl made her own book to display favorite photos and writing impressions of the 2 week project.
The East River Project was funded by The Hudson River Foundation.
