CHIAPAS GIRLS
Yo me llamo Xunka. Soy maestra de la fotografia y estoy junto a seis de las niñas del Club en la Casa Na Bolom en frente de una pintura de la famosa Gertrudis Duby Blom. Yo nací en la comunidad de Chamula. Tengo 35 años cumplidos y ya vivo acá en la ciudad de San Cristóbal de las Casas desde los cuatro años de edad. Algunos tal vez se acuerdan de mi, porque estuve en New York con ustedes hace unos tres años. Cuando vengan vamos a compartir muchas cosas bonitas. Espero su llegada!!!! Cuando vengan ya no va a hacer frío por acá.
My name is Xunka. I am the photography teacher and I am next to six of the nine girls from Club Balam in front of a famous painting done by Bertrudis Duby Blom. I was born in the Chamula community. I am 35 years old and have lived in he city of San Cristóbal since I was 4 years old. Some of you might remember me because I was in New York about 3 years ago. When you come we will talk about many things. I’m looking forward to your visit!!!! When you get here it will no longer be cold.
